The Beeman P17 is a single-stroke pneumatic target pistol that has become something of a legend at its price point. Pump it once, and you get a consistent, smooth shot at 410 fps in .177 cal — no CO2 cartridges to manage, no recoil to speak of. Just note that despite what the manual says, the P17 has an automatic safety, not a manual one.
