If you have a Alkin, Bauer, Coltri, Daystate, Omega, or a Diver compressor and end of your hose look like this, 
and you want to connect it to a Male Quick Disconnect like this,
(Examples would be your airgun, our Alpha Filter, etc.) then you will need to order our JIC to 1/8″ Female “Foster” style Quick Disconnect on the end of your hose.
