The Griffin target air rifle incorporates technology and features proven to deliver championship winning accuracy and performance. First on the list is the very special extra heavy match barrel. This mirror honed custom barrel is subjected to extreme levels of testing and scrutiny before being fitted to a breech block that has an extra hard finish for rigidity and strength. An adjustable air stripper adorns the business end of the barrel. This device gives the shooter the ability to alter the way the air exists the muzzle behind the pellet and the resulting muzzle lift. Fine tuning of the air stripper to each individual pellet can reduce group sizes significantly. The stripper can also be removed for shooters that desire a bare barrel or it can be adjusted and a sound moderator added for noise reduction. The choice is yours. The stock is one of the finest and most beautiful to ever cradle an air rifle action. The gray and black laminates contrast the silver and black action to give a stirring visual experience. The durable laminates have been crafted into a fully adjustable target stock with an adjustable hamster that nestles into and becomes one with the shooter. Gary Cane is the artist responsible for the luscious lines of this beautiful rifle. The trigger is a fully adjustable target grade unit that allows for trigger position, cant, length of pull as well as weight and release down to mere ounces. The firing system is a special tuned Harper system that delivers a tested single digit extreme spread for long range accuracy and high shot count from a small air supply. The air cylinder is small to reduce frontal weight providing a perfect neutral balance when shooting the Griffin. The Griffin is available in .177 and .22 calibers for each of the different shooting disciplines. With a 10 shot magazine, single shot tray, adjustable stock, butt plate, and three year guarantee the Griffin will indeed find success in the field and on the firing line of world class competitions.
